Calcot Children's Services recognised as great workplace for women
Calcot Services for Children (CSfC) has been recognised as one of 2021’s Best Workplaces for Women.
Following an employee feedback survey and audit of the company’s culture, programmes and practices CSfC received the accreditation, which demonstrates its commitment to providing a safe and supportive workplace.
Well-known brands including Hilton, Adobe, Admiral, and GAP are among those who have also been awarded the ‘Best Workplace for Women’ accolade.
The company, which provides residential care and education for young people with complex emotional, social, and behavioural difficulties, employees around 250 people. All of its services are rated as ‘Outstanding’ ‘Good’ by Ofsted.
Rachel Redgwell, managing director of Calcot Services for Children, said: “We believe in a company that everyone is proud to work for and where all our staff feel valued.
“However, it is very pleasing that our dedication to addressing gender imbalance and investing in female talent has been recognised. It is also satisfying that part of the process is employee feedback and our inclusivity and values are understood by employees.
“By providing a warm and supportive environment for our teams, we are supporting them to offer the best possible care to our children.”
