County Durham-based Dyer Engineering, which partners with industry-leading OEMs in defence, renewables and rail, specialising in the manufacture of machined metal components and fabrications, has announced key changes to its senior leadership team, appointing Chris Stavers as commercial director and transitioning Graeme Parkins to the role of strategic growth director.
Chris brings extensive experience in driving SME growth and profitability, with a focus on exploring new markets and strengthening strategic partnerships. He will lead Dyer’s commercial team to enhance operations and support the company’s ambitious growth plans.
Chris said: “I’ve long admired Dyer Engineering and the SmarterStrongerTogether ethos.
“I’m looking forward to joining the team and working together to achieve our ambitious growth goals.
“This is an exciting stage in Dyer’s growth journey, and I’m eager to get started and connect with everyone.”
Graeme, after 14 years in the business, will now focus on long-term opportunities as strategic growth director, leveraging his expertise to align the company with environmental and political trends.
He added: “The past few years leading the commercial team have been both challenging and rewarding.
“I’m excited to step into my role as strategic growth director, focusing on identifying markets and customers to support Dyer’s ongoing growth.
“Chris will now oversee day-to-day operations, supported by our talented commercial team, while I focus on building a robust pipeline for the future.”
Richard Bradley, managing director of Dyer Engineering, also added: “These leadership changes reinforce our commitment to driving nationwide growth, ensuring that we continue to invest in and support our thriving engineering landscape.
“Chris and Graeme will play pivotal roles in driving our vision forward and position us for future opportunities as we continue to be a trusted engineering partner to global companies.”
