Estate agent marks new branch with director move
Independent estate agent North Residential, headquartered in Harrogate, is celebrating a successful 2024 with its second new branch opening of the year and key director appointments.
The firm has expanded into Ilkley, appointing Lucy Crane as director to lead the new branch.
With nearly a decade at Strutt & Parker in Harrogate and deep local knowledge as an Ilkley resident, Lucy brings a wealth of expertise in selling premium homes.
Lucy said: “I am hugely excited to be heading up the new Ilkley branch of North Residential.
“As a local girl, it is a dream to now be working in the area and I am looking forward to introducing my clients to the unique way that we do things at North Residential, with our modern approach to selling properties with hands-on support for both buyers and sellers during what is often one of their biggest life decisions.”
This follows the successful launch of North Residential’s North Leeds branch earlier in the year, led by newly-appointed equity directors Emma Kingham and Harriet Cheshire.
Both formerly of Knight Frank Harrogate, Emma and Harriet bring over 20 years of combined experience in the Harrogate and Leeds markets.
In their first year, the North Leeds branch has sold over £20 million in properties, with 95 per cent achieving or exceeding asking prices, including Yorkshire’s most expensive home sale.
Harlan Pollitt, director of North Residential, added: “I am delighted with how the business has grown in 2024.
“We have continued to cement our place as one of the leading estate agents in Harrogate while Emma and Harriet have successfully driven the establishment of the North Residential brand in some of Leeds’ most desirable postcodes and built up an impressive client database.
“Lucy’s appointment is the exciting next step in our expansion - she joins us with an impressive track record that speaks for itself and having lived in Ilkley for a long time, she is the perfect person to spearhead our newest opening.
“She will bring a completely new approach to the area with her dynamic and tenacious personality.”
