 
    Pragmatic Semiconductor appoints new SVP for commercial growth
Flexible semiconductor pioneer Pragmatic Semiconductor has named James Davey as senior vice president of sales, business development & product management, succeeding Alastair Hanlon, who will remain in an advisory role.
James brings over 24 years of experience in the semiconductor and technology sectors. Most recently, he served as vice president, EMEA at eInfochips, where he led commercial sales across diverse end markets. His previous leadership roles include positions at Arrow Electronics, Cadence Design Systems, and Microchip Technology, focusing on revenue growth, market expansion and strategic partnerships.
At Cambridge-based Pragmatic, James will lead efforts to drive scalable solutions in sustainable edge and item-level intelligence, bolstering the company’s commercial ambitions.
He said: “I am excited to join Pragmatic Semiconductor at this pivotal moment.
